Zuzax/Tijeras
Just off I-40 east of Tijeras Canyon is this wooded area of the Mountains. The Zuzax area includes such popular subdivisions a Tablazon, and residents love the tall tress and piney air of their mountain acreage. Horses are generally allowed in the area, of course, and prices run from the very occasional property in the $100,000 range, through the much more commonly available homes in the mid $300,000's, all the way to prices in the million dollar range for some of the most elegant estates.
